My Theme Songs

1 Dec

Have you ever had anyone ask you what the soundtrack of your life would be?  Like if you walked around with an 80’s boombox on your shoulder all damn day, and when something particular happened you could just push a button and start a song?  (How fucking HILARIOUS would that be, by the way??)  I have been asked.  And I actually thought about it.  While I think it would be really extensive…like most of P!nk’s Funhouse album, here are some stand outs.  And because I fucking rock so much, I added the music videos.  So sit back, enjoy, and get your music fill for the day!  Love you skanks.

Bad Girlfriend by Theory Of A Deadman.  I don’t really feel there needs to be an explanation here…

My current theme song.  I.  Just.  Can’t.  Get.  Enough!  I love all of the WRONG in the video.  We all have done wrong…it’s fucking delicious…

Fighter by Christina Aguilera.  Weird video, but I love the message of the song.

Eminem’s Cinderella Man.  I love love love a great comeback song.  And this is a great fucking comeback song.  It gives me chills when I listen to it.  I apologize, because there doesn’t seem to be a music video for it, but this guy did a good job with a compilation.

Fergie’s Big Girls Don’t Cry.  This song got me through a particularly hard break-up.  You loyal skanks will know of the bastard of which I speak…now when I listen to it, it reminds me that I don’t need a man to make me happy.

Of course it would be an Esme playlist without something like this: Click on the links-you won’t be disappointed.  I have never seen this actual video.  Actually found two different versions.  Copy and paste skanks…copy and paste…Wish I could embed them! Fuckers…

This next song I only add for…hmmm…douchebag effect.  I seriously want to play this for all of the fuck-tards I have dated recently.  I want to put this on my 80’s boombox, and hit the ‘play’ button whenever the douchebag gene appears.  I heart this guy.  It is fucking hilarious.  LISTEN TO IT FUCKERS!!  You will laugh your ass off!!!

Hope you enjoyed the insight to the soundtrack of my life.  There are, of course, many more.  But these popped into my mind first.  So there.

Love much, Esme
